Running code page 0037, and have coded a USS command in a SA APL that contains characters: [ ] ^ ¬ The characters display correctly in SA Policy and SA commands, but are translated when the run in USS.
After the INGAMS panel INGKYAM1 is used to cause a SAM to takeover as PAM message AOF571I is produced indicating that PAM job was SHUTDOWN OUTSIDE OF AUTOMATION.
Client had deleted a Processor entry in the SA policy file PDB, however there were still SA z/OS processes interrogating the old processor. Client wanted to know the recommended way to remove CPC definitions in SA so that it would no longer interrogate the non-existent CPC.
Client performed "X" on DISPSTAT panel under SA z/OS V3R4, and received: AOF335I UNRECOGNIZED ACTION CODE Client requested assistance to resolve this problem so 'X' could be used on the panel.
Testing GDPS with a large number of resources, the entire region was consumed and NetView suffered an out of storage abend. With about 9,000 resources the NetView address space used all 2 GIG of available storage.
The AOFRACON command is intended to assign autotasks to each MCS console not already served by NetView operator as long as no autotask is assigned to console *ANY*. AOFRACON issued but no autotask were assigned.
Client reported erroneous results on SA z/OS command "INGCF P" after application of z/OS APAR OA38312 and requested assistance to resolve the invalid display on the INGCF panel.
Customer had PDB definitions and local rexx processes that performed SA z/OS command "IMSCMD", and after installation of V3R3, those commands failed with: DSI002I INVALID COMMAND: 'IMSCMD' Customer requested assistance to resolve this issue.
Even though DSIRXPRM was updated to include the SAzOS REXX Function Package (INGRXFPG) AOF760E for AOFRANTL was still written to the NETLOG during SAzOS Agent initialization.
