IBM DLA and Veritas DLA software - IBM IntelliStation E Pro



Determine the version of DLA installed on your system
  1. Double-click My Computer.
  2. Right-click on the icon for your recordable drive.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the DLA tab.
  5. Click Version information. You will see a dialog similar to the following:

Downloading the update
  1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
  2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
Extracting the update

Note: Before installing this update, uninstall any previously installed versions of IBM DLA. See "Uninstalling IBM DLA" below for instructions.

  1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files or Folders.
  2. Type b91z87usa.exe in the search field, then click Search. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
  3. Double-click the b91z87usa.exe icon.
  4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
  5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\B91Z87US.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Finish.
Installing the update
  1. Click Start, then click Run.
  2. Type C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\B91Z87US\setup.exe, then click OK. The setup program will run.
  3. Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot your system when done.
Uninstalling IBM DLA
  1. Click Start, select Settings, click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Click IBM DLA.
  4. Click Remove. Follow the onscreen instructions to remove DLA.

To view PDF files you must have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your system.
