Additional information

UXSPI failed to update the firmware of QLogic 10 GB SFP+ Dual-Port Mezzanine Card on vSphere 5.0, 5.0U1, and 5.1 with return code 212.

The reason why this occurs is an issue with the QLogic firmware update manager (QLogic provider) running on ESXi. The fix will come from QLogic.

If users want to update the firmware of QLogic Dual-Port 10 Gb Ethernet SFP+ Embedded Adapter for IBM System x, they can run UXSPI to update the firmware on Microsoft Windows or Linux operation systems that UXSPI supports.
