Symptom
Advanced Settings Utility (ASU) fails to set or show 'bootorder.bootorder' through the Common Information Model (CIM) interface.

The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Advanced Settings Utility, any version
This tip is not system specific.
This tip is not option specific.
Note: This does not imply that the network operating system will work under all combinations of hardware and software.

Solution
This behavior is corrected in ASU v9.30.
The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and Operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
Workaround
Use one of the following two workarounds:
Workaround 1:
- Users can employ the ASU Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) to set or show the start order. The start order also can be set under out of band mode.
Workaround 2:
- Users can set or show the start order in the F1 Setup menu.
Additional information
The Instance ID of 'bootorder' has changed from 'BOOT_ORDER.BootOrder' to 'BootOrder.BootOrder' in the latest Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) version.
